OFFICIAL RULES FOR SUITE RADIO GUSHER (OIL WELL GIVEAWAY) SWEEPSTAKES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR RECEIVE THIS PRIZE.

Sponsors: SUITE RADIO, herein after collectively referred to as “Sponsor”.

Eligibility: Contests are open to all residents 18 years or older, who live Texas in the SUITE RADIO fm listening area and have a valid Social Security Number and valid, current Texas driver’s license or State Photo ID.   

Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six months performed services for SUITE RADIO, any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the sweepstakes or supplying the prize, and their respective parent subsidiary, affiliated and successor or companies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or play. “Immediate family members” shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, in-laws, step-siblings, or spouses. “Household members” shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year. Employees of other radio stations are not eligible.

To Enter: 
The sweepstakes runs from April 14, 2025 through May 15th, 2025 (for on-line registration). Then To enter visit www.SUITERADIO.com and click on “SuiteRadio Great Gusher” info.  You will have to answer the 5 or 6 trivia questions listed.  From all entries with all the correct answers, 5 pre-qualifiers will be chosen to attend the on-site giveaway (location and time TBD, will be held on June 16th or 17th, 2025. All 5 pre-qualifiers from web entries (with all trivia questions answered correctly) will be invited to attend and one last chance qualifier will be chosen to participate in giveaway.  Or send a mail-in entry with your name, mailing address, daytime telephone number and e-mail address and answers to the trivia questions to “SuiteRadio’s Great Gusher” Sweepstakes, c/o SuiteRadio Westheimer, Ste. 700  Houston, TX  77042. Each mail in entry must be mailed individually or placed in a separate envelope. No mechanically reproduced, illegible or incomplete entries will be accepted.  Enter as often as you wish by mail.  All online entries must be completed by midnight on Friday, May 8th, 2025.  All mailed entries must be received by 5:00 PM on Friday, May 15th, 2025 at the offices of SuiteRadio  9801 Westheimer, Ste. 700  Houston, TX  77042.

All information submitted, including names/address of entrants, will only be used for determining the winners of this contest and will not be sold or used or any other purposes.

Those contest winners, who have won any prize from ESPN 97.5 The Ticket – KFNC - FM, 103.7 JACK fm – KHJK, or 104.1 KRBE, within thirty (30) days of entry, or, have won any prize from the same contest, are not eligible to win.

The winner receives a Deeded Royalty or Mineral Interest in a producing oil and gas field generating a monthly income.  This type of interest does not require that the interest holder ever pays a fee or expense for well maintenance, up-keep or any other operating expenses.  This property is strictly a net income-producing property.  The winner receives monthly income checks, not invoices or bills to operate wells. Royalty income is a specified percentage of the production value paid directly to the Royalty Holder by the wells’ operator for the viable life of the well.  Winner acknowledges and agrees that no representation or guarantee is being made or can be made with respect to the future value of such Royalties, or to the length of time the oil field property will remain viable.  Such is the nature of oil production.

Winner receives, via overnight delivery (FedX), a copy of the executed Royalty and Mineral Deed transferring title to the winner.  Full legal name and current address is required.  An original copy of the Royalty and Mineral Deed will be filed on behalf of the winner with the County Clerk’s Office in the jurisdiction where the well is located.  This is the conveyance process giving legal ownership.  A copy of the recorded Mineral and/or Royalty Deed will be forwarded to the oil field’s owner/operator/representative, advising them where to begin sending the monthly royalty payments.  The owner/operator/representative processes oil and gas royalty payments each month.

Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes due from payment of Royalty income.  Consult a qualified tax advisor with any such questions.

The random drawing conducted by SUITE RADIO on or about Monday, May 4th, 2025, from all eligible entries received online or by mail. Odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received.  Decisions of SUITE RADIO and all judges are final in all respects.  Prizes cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash, or substituted except by Cumulus Media and SUITE RADIO fm because of prize unavailability. The 5 pre-qualifiers will be notified by telephone, email, and/or mail with specific instructions and information for on-site giveaways (i.e. actual contest to award prize).  One last chance option will be available for all who meet the restrictions to enter on or about May 16th or 17th, 2025 at on-site giveaway location (venue & time TBD).  A random drawing will be held to select the 6th qualifier.  Then, one grand prize winner will be selected via lightening round trivia questions.  Last man (or woman) standing takes the prize!  There is a 1 in 6 chance (at this point) to walk away with Suite Radio’s Great Gusher! All contestants will be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release which must be returned within 5 days of receipt, or an alternate winner may be selected.  By entering this sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to be bound by these rules and consents to the use of his/her name, voice, likeness, photographic or video image, and hometown without additional compensation, for any and all publicity purposes carried out worldwide by SUITE RADIO, unless prohibited by law.

To claim prize: (a) winner must provide proof of age, identity and residency; (b) winner must sign and return affidavit of eligibility/compliance with rules, publicity/liability release and indemnification, all within the time period specified by Sponsor. 

Void where prohibited.  All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

 All prizes are awarded without any warranty whatsoever, including any WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE which is expressly disclaimed.  By participating in this promotion, participants agree to abide by and be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which shall be final in all matters relating to this promotion. If a participant is found in violation of these rules he/she may be required to forfeit his/her prize.  By accepting a prize, participants agree to hold SuiteRadio, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, the promotion administrator and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns harmless from and against any and all claims, damages and liability of any kind arising from or in connection with the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of any prize, or participation in the promotion or in any award-related activities, and assume all liability therefore.  All entrants and winners agree and understand that the eligibility and opportunity to win are further conditioned upon the sponsor’s determination as to eligibility and compliance with all contest rules and requirements.Sponsorreserves the right to make rule or sweepstakes changes without notice at any time.   

SuiteRadio, is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected or mutilated entries.  SuiteRadio is also not responsible for any errors or omissions in the text or for printing or typographical errors in any promotion related materials; or online communications that are processed late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction. SuiteRadio reserves the right to cancel or modify the sweepstakes if fraud or technical failure compromises the integrity of the promotion as determined by Cumulus Media and SuiteRadio fm in their sole discretion. SuiteRadio is not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone failures of any kind, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission whether caused by SuiteRadio, the user, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the promotion or by any technical or human error which may occur in the process of submissions which may limit a participant’s ability to participate in this promotion.
